Question:  When does CBC start?  Where does it meet?

Answer: CBC begins Wednesday, October 3, 2012  at 6:30 PM.  We meet at Lakeview Bible Church
(1651 Avenue Q, Carter Lake).



Question: What happens when weather is bad?

Answer: Check the local TV station for updates.  If Council Bluffs schools are cancelled on a day we have an evening activity, the activity will also be cancelled. 



Question: What is the dress code during Sunday service?

Answer: Casual (appropriate and modest)



Question: What time are Sunday services?

Answer: Sunday school begins at 9:30 AM and Worship Service begins at 10:45 AM  
However, from the first Sunday in June through Labor Day we meet only for Worship at 10:45 AM.  We do this to provide our teachers a much deserved break.



Question: Is there child care during services?

Answer: Yes.  We have Sunday school classes designed for everyone from 2 years old and up.  We have a nursery for younger children.  During our worship service we have nursery and children's church.  Children are dismissed for children's church during the morning service.  Children's Church is designed for youngsters age 4 - 4th grade.




Question: What do I need to do to become a member of Lakeview?

Answer: You must attend our membership class, offered quarterly.  Our membership class is called "Dinner with a Purpose."  During our time together we will discuss our doctrinal statement, our church history, answer any questions you may have and enjoy a meal together.


Question:  Does Lakeview provide any community services?

Answer:  Yes.  Lakeview has a Food Pantry available to the community.  Contact Pastor Dave at 712-347-6440 or 712-309-5175 if we can help meet your family grocery needs.

We also have a FREE EXERCISE class open to ladies and gentlemen.  We meet Monday through Thursday at 6:30 PM and Fridays at 5:30 PM.  Monday and Friday we "dance" with the Wii  and Tuesday through Thursday we challenge ourselves with aerobic and weight training.


Question:  Does Lakeview have a men's ministry?


Answer:  Yes!  Our men's ministry is called Man2Man.  The men meet the first Saturday of each month at 10:00 AM for breakfast and Bible Study.  The men meet for one hour and every man is encouraged to attend. Our Bible study is lead by the men of Lakeview.  We hope that you will join us soon!
